Triangle Inequality eTool (Desmos)

Use this eTool to determine the length of the third side of a triangle if the length of the two other sides are given.

  1. Adjust the the side lengths of the triangles.
    • Click the blue points (horizontally) on the sliders and drag it to the desired length.
  2. Move the two points B to coincide.
    • Click the points B one at a time and drag it to where they both coincide.
